The resident-s company is always welcomed by the staff team . The food seems very good and there are always snacks available... We toured this community and it was nice and clean.

The average length of stay at Artesian Home is approximately 18.8 days. (this may include both short and long-term care visits). We have 66 beds in our nursing facility, 24 of which are reserved for our Covenant Center where we specialize in care for patients at the end stages of dementia. "We liked best the tender care and love showed while our father was in skilled nursing and that we were contacted and consulted through his last stay." We recommend approximately five changes of clothing and a pair of comfortable rubber-soled shoes. All articles should be washed, clearly labeled with the resident’s name in permanent ink, and entered into the patient’s personal inventory log in the medical chart.
The staff was helpful with all our questions. There just wasn't enough activities here. They wouldn't provide transportation to doctors.

In last 20 years several serological test kits were dumped in the Indian market for the diagnosis of PTB and EPTB. But these kits gave highly inaccurate results, leading to unnecessary treatment to hundreds of thousands of patients, and leaving several thousands TB patients untreated. Dr. Singh played crucial role in getting these serological kits banned for import, manufacture and use in India (The Independent, UK; Times of India; The Hindu; Deccan Herald; Spectrum; etc.) and live discussion on the all India Radio. The Editorial published in the IJMR (Singh & Katoch, 2011) played the key role in this decision taken by the Government of India in May 2012.

“In the interest of public health and with a view to keep the hospital buildings clean, thus contributing towards the “Swachh Bharat” campaign, the premises of AIIMS, New Delhi is declared as a tobacco-free zone. As such smoking and spitting of tobacco on the premises of AIIMS, New Delhi are prohibited and a punishable offence with a fine of Rs 200,” the OM read. The COTPA envisages protection of a non-user from involuntary exposure to tobacco smoke, which specifically finds mention in section 4 of the Act that prohibits smoking in public places, including hospital buildings, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, public offices, workplaces, canteens etc.

The establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at New Delhi in 1956 was a dream project of first Prime Minister of India, Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru and this was executed by first Health Minister of India Mrs. Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur through an act of Parliament known as AIIMS Act. Upon being informed about the cyber security incident by AIIMS, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) evaluated the case. Spitting of tobacco leads to the spread of various diseases and may cause health problems to the public or nuisance to the people in general, the OM read. Also, if any permanent employee or doctor is found smoking or chewing a tobacco product on the hospital premises, a memorandum will be issued and disciplinary action taken against him, according to the OM. They are at various stages of offering inpatient and outpatient services to the needy. For the first time for any AIIMS, the AIIMS, Bhopal has established a Centre for the Translational Medicine.
